I’m Dr. Sritharan Subramaniam

A senior consultant urologist and been successfully practicing Urology for more than 20 years.

Currently in private practice in Island Hospital iUrology center, which is a tertiary level hospital with multidisciplinary specialty.

I’m also involved in training future urologist in Malaysia through programs organized by the Malaysian Board of Urology.

          My Credentials

          Dr Sritharan Subramaniam graduated with distinction from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1993.
          He completed his general surgical training and was awarded Master in Surgery from National University of Singapore and Fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

          Following this Dr Sritharan continued his training in all aspects of urological surgery and completed his training in 2002 and was board certified by the Malaysian Board of Urology.

          Following that Dr Sritharan had further training and work experience in Australia. He completed his Fellowship training in vascular access for hemodialysis and kidney transplantation in Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide. He further underwent Fellowship training in all aspects of Urological surgery in Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.Following his return to Malaysia, Dr Sritharan performed and started kidney transplant surgery services in Hospital University Kebangsaan Malaysia, apart from training future urologist and teaching medical student.
